Family Stuff

Our thoughts are in Scotland this weekend with the rest of the Cabrelli clan. We are sad we couldn't be there at the gathering to celebrate the life of Mark's Aunt Jean (Sundie's big sister). Jean was 91 years old. Mark has spent the day on the phone reminiscing about good memories of Jean.

Emily comes home tomorrow so we can't wait to have her home at last. She had a great week with Nanny and Grandad and the rest of the family in PA. Here she is with her cousins, Maggie, Jack and Tommy.

sorry to hear about Mark's aunt...it is difficult being far from home at times like these

also wanted to say how lovely (and grown up) Emmy looks in those photos - such a pretty girl! She looks like she's changed during the summer. Your sister's kids are so cute as well - great pic of them all together.

Dear Lisa and Mark. I joined us for this sad news. I read the post in june where you talked about italian roots of Mark. I visited your blog after plenty of time and I updated about Sara your italian language teacher. It'would be great to meet you and I follow you with a lot of love. Next week We have to reach Boston MA where my parents live. I'm looking forward to hear from them and we'll spend a cool time. Send a big hug to Emily.

Oh, my deepest regrets to the Cabrelli clan. It is nice, however, that Mark and his family are able to remember her with reminiscing and goodness.

Emily is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! What a heartbreaker! And so photogenic! Enjoy having her back home!
