This morning we discovered our fresh-water well. So hair-washed and fresh-water rinsed we are feeling invincible. Here are Emmy and Mark taking their morning bath Bahama’s style… not bad eh?
We didn’t make it down to the Junkanoo last night it was windy and raining and although we had spoken to a Taxi we didn’t trust the transportation. Imagine our good luck – we arrived in town this morning at 9:30am and the Junkanoo was still in full swing. They started late due to rain (probably around 2:00am) and were still dancing and playing like they just started. Here are some photo’s and as soon as Emmy and I figure out how to post video (when we have our own cable connection) we will do that too.
We met our new neighbours yesterday as they were moving in. They are a lovely young couple with a very cute dog named Lupa (a Chiuwawa). Not sure what we are doing today except eating at the Cricket Club and looking for a car. There are no rental cars available on the island - but we are speaking to some folks about getting a private rentals.

Happy New Year!
Miss you, Em! Pet Ow and Colonel for us and take good care of them. I'm sure they'll stay away from the ocean. I wonder what kind of creatures they'll catch for you! Let us know how school goes. If you can show us on Google Earth where your house and school are, we would love that!
Love, Gaga
Happy New Year Gaga and Bapa and cats! I miss you - the cats are fine, I am taking good care of them. Emily
I am glad to hear that Ow and Colonel are at "100% happy" now! You really have a way with animals! Let me know what they catch outdoors (like maybe lizards, ? etc?!) Teddy says Hello and :)
