Emmy's Home!

Emily arrive home yesterday and brought Nanny and Granddad (Lisa's Mum and Dad) with her. After British breakfast this morning at the Cricket Club and a tour around Fort Charlotte we have spent the day relaxing on the patio. We managed to open our first coconut from our tree! Now Dad is teaching us how to fish (using the rods that it cost him $150 to get on as over-sized luggage...eek!). More tomorrow.

Colonel is happy that Emily is home too!!!

Awwww. So glad she's home safe and sound again.

Have a great visit with the parents!! (And catch some great fish so those rods will be worth the luggage charge!! No pressure, or anything.)

We're off to my parents' place tomorrow ~ and the forecast is for 5-10 inches of snow for pretty much the whole 6-hr drive!! Should be exciting!

I remember opening my first coconut! I was visiting my aunt and uncle in Florida and got my first, real coconut from a tree and my uncle showed me how to open it correctly. For the entire two weeks of my vacation all I was interested in was getting more coconuts.

What a lovely sounding day.

We went sailing around the BVI a few years ago, and the temptation to chuck it all and move to the Caribbean was almost overwhelming. Good for you for doing it!
